Program Effectiveness

ADC has demonstrated considerable evidence of high academic achievement over the past four year of serving student through SES.

In the 2009-10 school year (SY) the program student participation increased by 48%.

SY 2008-09 Reading

Students in grades 3-8 averaged learning gains of:

  • 22% in Reading – FCAT
  • 53% of ESE students improved in their current proficiency level and
  • 35% of ELL students made learning gains according to their Developmental Scale Scores

SY 2008-09 Mathematics

Students in grades 3-8 averaged learning gains of:

  • 38% in Math – FCAT
  • 53% of ESE students improved in their current proficiency level and
  • 40% of ELL students made learning gains according to their Developmental Scale Scores
